Lost Bodies is The Nancy Willard and Eric Lindbloom Archives first of two exhibitions curated by our Archives And Exhibitions Assistant Interns, students from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York and St. John’s University in Queens, New York.
Lost Bodies, presented at The Nancy Willard and Eric Lindbloom Artist-Run Project Space, in Poughkeepsie, New York, is a group exhibition curated by Elizabeth Girdharry. Girdharry, an alumni from Vassar College, served as our Archives And Exhibitions Assistant from 2021 - 2022.
Curatorial Statement
She pulled back to reveal the flesh underneath. Color spills from the peeled detritus. The body, both devastated and revealed, is on display. And it is beautiful. Please join us in welcoming four emerging artists in the spring of their careers. Exhibiting the work of Sasha Ekman, Grace Finucan, Clarissa Longenon and Jenna Spaid, Lost Bodies is a vibrant body of work which spans many different mediums from ceramics and watercolor to digital photography and acrylic painting. The body truly flexes itself across space.
